The British Cosmetic Dermatology Group (BCDG)

The British Cosmetic Dermatology Group (BCDG) was founded 20 years ago to address the lack of formal cosmetic dermatology training within UK dermatology. Since then, we have been committed to supporting excellence and safety in aesthetic dermatology practice.

Our educational programme includes an annual cosmetic dermatology training day designed to fulfil the Royal College curriculum requirements, an annual SIG session at the BAD annual meeting, a practical injectables course in association with the University of Manchester, and a biannual multidisciplinary meeting.

We actively support dermatology trainees in developing safe and effective cosmetic practice, provide reliable public education on cosmetic procedures, and act as a trusted, evidence-based voice for the media on all aspects of cosmetic and aesthetic dermatology.
