Membership Fee: £60
BCDG membership provides dermatologists with exclusive access to educational opportunities, professional development, and mentorship in cosmetic dermatology.
Members are eligible to attend our injectables training course at the University of Manchester and are paired with an experienced mentor for tailored support. Following this, members also receive complimentary JCCP registration for one year.
You’ll be invited to our biannual multidisciplinary meetings, where complex cases are discussed and expertise shared across the specialty. Membership also gives access to a growing library of resources, including complications management guidance, clinical protocols, educational materials, and consent form templates.
A regular BCDG newsletter keeps members updated with the latest news and advances in the field. In addition, your professional profile will be included in our public “Find a Dermatologist” directory, helping patients connect with trusted, qualified cosmetic dermatologists.

Membership Categories
Ordinary Member:
- Consultant dermatologist on GMC Specialist Register
- NHS Locum Consultant >24 months (requires 1 proposing ordinary member)
Trainee Member:
- NTN
- CESR-approved post with supporting letter from CSL/TPD (requires 1 proposing ordinary member)
Associate Member:
- Specialist Register in Dermatology-affiliated specialty (e.g. Plastics, ENT, Maxillofacial, Oculoplastics)
- SAS or GPwER with >60% dermatology workload + relevant diploma
- All require 1 proposing ordinary member
Other/Exceptional Applications:
- To be reviewed by Executive Comittee on a case-by-case basis
- International members not currently accepted, subject to review
