Event Summary
The British Cosmetic Dermatology Group Annual Course is a one-day intensive training event designed for dermatologists with an interest in cosmetic practice. The morning programme features expert-led lectures covering the full cosmetic dermatology curriculum — including topicals, injectables, lasers, and chemical peels.
In the afternoon, delegates will gain practical experience in a structured hands-on session, working alongside experienced mentors. Using mannequins, participants will have the opportunity to develop injection techniques in a supportive and supervised environment.
This course offers a comprehensive blend of evidence-based learning and practical skills, making it an essential event for dermatologists wishing to enhance their knowledge and confidence in cosmetic dermatology. This course satisfies the cosmetic dermatology competencies as laid out on the most recent JRCPTB curriculum.

Delivered by experienced dermatologists, the course combines self-guided online lectures, live demonstrations, and hands-on injectables training focused on safe, evidence-based cosmetic practice. Participants gain practical skills in facial anatomy, injection techniques, and complication management, with mentorship and assessment supporting clinical confidence. This course forms part of the British Cosmetic Dermatology Group’s commitment to raising standards and promoting excellence in aesthetic dermatology education.
